Sometimes it�s hard to believe that tiny Clermont Harbor Mississippi, stuck in its thirty year time warp, is aware that the rest of the world exists.

But the news of the terrorist attacks in London made it even this far. On September 11th 2001 it was Bonnie who broke the news to me about the attacks in New York and DC. Today, Bonnie broke the news to me about London.

All but one of my friends in the London area are accounted for, and the one who isn�t is likely to be elsewhere for the summer. I am lucky. I can�t imagine what it must be like for those who weren�t so lucky.

Maybe I should be thinking about who did it, their reasons, what this means for Britain... but right now, I just feel sad.
